New Training Activity Implemented in Baghdad under the “Voices of Change” Project
As part of the ongoing implementation of the Voices of Change project, and with the support of the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI), the Democratic House Organization (DHO) conducted a training activity in Baghdad during the month of September, marking another important step in the project’s community-based engagement.
The workshop was designed as a participatory learning experience, combining open discussions, group work, and interactive exercises. This approach encouraged active involvement from participants and created an environment where ideas, concerns, and perspectives could be exchanged in a constructive and respectful manner.
The activity provided a platform for young women to explore real-life challenges and to reflect on their roles within their communities. Participants engaged in meaningful dialogue and shared personal experiences, strengthening mutual understanding and solidifying connections among the group.
This training represents an additional milestone within the Voices of Change project, contributing to a broader effort to promote informed participation, confidence, and community engagement among young women in Baghdad through learning and dialogue.
